Message from the Worshipful Master
March, 2003
FROM THE EAST....

Dear Brethren:

On February 20, 2003, three candidates were initiated into the Entered Apprentice degree at a degree ceremony which was exceptionally presented and presided over by our Jr. Warden, Mel Sinclair and other members of the degree team.  I congratulate Mel on the excellent work that he performed which was near perfection and I applaud the rest of the degree team regarding the outstanding manner in which they performed their various parts.  There were more than thirty-five members present for the degree and to all of those members and visitors I say, "Thank you for attending".  I am confident that our candidates received a degree they will never forget. Please remember that the Grand Lodge is scheduled to meet in Myrtle Beach on April 24th and 25th of this year.  I intend to discuss some of the proposed legislation at both the March and April meetings.  I also hope to have a representative from the Blood Connection speak with us concerning our upcoming blood drive on April 12, 2003. Please pass the word on to those brothers whom you have not visited with in the lodge for quite some time.  Let's all try to do our best to double the thirty-five in attendance at the E. A. degree when our candidates are passed to the Fellow Craft degree on March 27th. To date my tenure as W. M. has been very short but I want to thank all the brethren who have welcomed me, encouraged me, and treated me with utmost loyalty, friendship, and respect during my short term.  I hope that I continue to warrent your honor and respect.

Fraternally,
Lawrence W. Crane, Worshipful Master
