Message from the East
May, 2003

Dear Brethren:
A job well done, my good and faithful brothers!
Our own brothers, Most Worshipful Brother G. Kent Elkins, Past Grand Master of Masons in South Carolina and Right Worshipful Brother R. W. "Bob" Kendrick, Past District Deputy Grand Master, have just completed two very successful years performing their respective duties and service to the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ancient Free Masons of South Caorlina and have now passed their obligations to their successors.  Their accomplishments were many and their leadership was superb.  On behalf of myself and the entire Lodge, I extend to them a heartfelt "thank you".
Thank you also to all those brothers and friends who participated in the blood drive/pancake breakfast on April 12, 2003.  We collected at least fifteen (15) pints of blood and Fifty-two ($52.00) Dollars to be given to a Masonic charity of your choice.  I hope to have another blood drive/pancake breakfast in August or September.  Be on the lookout for it.
Please note the upcoming meeting and degree work dates and bring a brother with you when you attend Lodge.  We hope to have a great third degree on Thursday, May 15th.

I look forward to seeing you at the Lodge
Fraternally yours,
Lawrence W. Crane
Worshipful Master
