Message from the East
September, 2003

My Brothers:
Congratulations to Brother Mel Sinclair and the degree team for a superbly performed 1st degree on September 18th.  Thanks to all who attended.  If you missed the work you missed an impressive performance and please know that you were missed.

Fall is here and I am reminded that as the seasons change and the days grow shorter, so too do my days as Worshipful Master.  I have only 3 months remaining as Worshipful Master and I hope you will continue to support my various efforts and continue your faithful attendance, bringing fellow masons with you whenever possible.

This Plumbline covers October and November in an effort to cut costs for the Lodge.  Please take note of the improtant dates listed below and make every effort to attend.  Bring spouses, children, and friends to the inspirational meeting, which will be held at our Lodge building.  The 2nd and 3rd degrees are set.  Officers of Walden Lodge plan on presenting all of the 3rd degree with the help of a few Lodge experts.  If you want to participate, please let me know.

Thanks to all who have shared their views with me this year.  The Lodge is here for you and your leaders can't know what you feel if you don't let them know.  Keep on keeping on.

See you at Lodge.

Fraternally yours,

Lawrence W. Crane
Worshipful Master
