April 2008 Plumbline, Walden Lodge No. 274
The signs of spring are everywhere. College basketball is ending, and spring football practice is full swing. Flu season is ending, and allergy season is beginning as the days are getting longer and the flowers bloom. And many of you will probably be rushing to the post office with your tax returns. It can be very easy to get out of the habit of attending Masonic activities, but this is the time when help is most needed. We will be cleaning the building in preparation for the Centennial Celebration, preparing for Grand Lodge, and having a third Degree. I am also planning several activities over the next few months and hope to post them in the May issue. For our April business meeting I would like everyone to think about what makes a new candidate worthy and well qualified. So if you haven’t volunteered to be on an investigating committee because you weren’t sure of what to ask, you will want to be there. I look forward to seeing each of you, Tom Mowbray
