May 2008 Plumbline, Walden Lodge No. 274

        Greetings from the East

I had many people tell me the year would be over before I knew it. I am finding it is the truth. Many of the things that I wanted to do seem to out of reach due to a lack of time. One thing that I had thought about this year was to participate in the Greenville Christmas Parade. I know it seems early to think of Christmas in May, but now is the time to plan if we are going to do it.  Since this is our 100th year in the community I think it would be the perfect opportunity to reintroduce ourselves. I would like some feed back. If you think it’s a good idea I will need some volunteers.

There really is not a good excuse for not making it to the May meeting. The weather shouldn’t be a factor and there really is not much else going on this time of year. I will discuss the happenings of Grand Lodge and go over any last details of our June celebration.

We will have the third reading and voting of the changes made in the by laws this month.

I do hope to have a first degree on the third Thursday.

Thank you,

Tom Mowbray, Worshipful Master
